Spring Player Clinics (no Spring League)
This training is designed to give players in grades 3-8 that live or attend school in Eden Prairie the opportunity to continue on enhancing their basketball skill after the fall/winter season. Sessions will run once a week on Mondays (or 1 Wednesday) for 75-90 minutes for 7 weeks (dates below – No clinics during EP Spring Break) focusing on player conditioning, shooting, passing, dribbling, foot work, offensive and defensive fundamentals. This training is designed for the basketball player who wants to improve her basketball skills and vocabulary. Training for these clinics will be led by Girls Varsity Coach Ellen Wiese and EPGBA Coaches.
Sessions will be held at the EPHS Activity Center or Main Gym on the following dates & times
(Registration is limited to 30 participants – Pending demand EPGBA may open up more spots or combine where necessary):
Grades 3-5: 7:00 – 8:15 PM
Grades 6-8: 8:15 – 9:30 PM

Registration = $100 (No refunds once the clinics start; refunds prior to the start are less 5% processing fee. Fees are not prorated.).
Spring League (includes Spring Player Clinics)
EPGBA Spring basketball program is designed to give 3rd-8th grade players who live and/or attend school in Eden Prairie, the opportunity to further develop their basketball skills after completion of the winter season along with giving In-House players a chance to experience travel basketball. The 2019 spring season will run from March 11th-May 5th.
Spring fees for the 2019 season = $175 (No refunds once practices start; refunds prior to the start are less 5% processing fee) this includes spring player clinics – do NOT sign up for spring player clinics separately.
Paid Coach fee = $75 (To be collected at the first practice, if player is placed on a team with a paid coach)
If there are not enough girls in a grade to field a team, you will recieve a full refund.
The number of teams and number of players per team will be determined by the number of registered players, available coaches and player availability of tournaments. If more than one team in a grade can be formed, players will be placed on a team based on her fall/winter team placement, player availability, and team needs.
For 3rd grade, based on number of players, players will be evaluated during the first week of practices by coaches assigned to 3rd grade and teams formed of those players.
Players will be expected to wear their uniform from the current fall/winter season.
Teams will practice on Wednesdays for 75-90 minutes and participate in the Spring Player Clinics on Mondays.
Wednesday practice times vary each week. Practices will be held at EPHS Main Gym or Activity Center. Teams will not have any scheduled practices over Eden Prairie Spring Break. All players are expected to bring their own basketball to practice.
Teams will participate 3 weekend tournaments hosted by MYAS throughout the season. Tournaments are scheduled throughout the metro area.
