It's time to start thinking Spring basketball!  EPGBA will once again offer players in grades 3-8 that live or attend school in Eden Prairie the opportunity to continue on enhancing their basketball skill after the fall/winter season.

Spring Player Clinics
Sessions will run once a week on Mondays for 75-90 minutes for 7 weeks (March 11th-April 29th; No clinics during EP Spring Break) focusing on player conditioning, shooting, passing, dribbling, foot work, offensive and defensive fundamentals. This training is designed for the basketball player who wants to improve her basketball skills and vocabulary. Training for these clinics will be led by Girls Varsity Coach Ellen Wiese and EPGBA Coaches.

(Registration is limited to 30 participants – Pending demand EPGBA may open up more spots or combine where necessary)

Registration = $100 (No refunds once the clinics start; refunds prior to the start are less 5% processing fee.  Fees are not prorated.).

Spring League (includes Spring Player Clinics)
The 2019 Spring League season will run from March 11th-May 5th.

Registration:
Spring league fees for the 2019 season = $175 (No refunds once practices start; refunds prior to the start are less 5% processing fee) this includes spring player clinics – do NOT sign up for spring player clinics separately.

Paid Coach fee = $75 (To be collected at the first practice, if player is placed on a team with a paid coach)

Teams
The number of teams and number of players per team will be determined by the number of registered players, available coaches and player availability of tournaments. If more than one team in a grade can be formed, players will be placed on a team based on her fall/winter team placement, player availability, and team needs.

For 3rd grade, based on number of players, players will be evaluated during the first week of practices by coaches assigned to 3rd grade and teams formed of those players.

Practices
Teams will practice on Wednesdays for 75-90 minutes and participate in the Spring Player Clinics on Mondays.  Teams will not have any scheduled practices over Eden Prairie Spring Break. Wednesday practice times vary each week.

Tournaments
Teams will participate 3 weekend tournaments hosted by MYAS throughout the season. Tournaments are scheduled throughout the metro area.

*Class of 2019 Service Project - Personal Care Bags for PROP

The EPHS Class of 2019 will be assembling bags of personal care products/toiletries for families in our community during the Senior Party. The personal care bags will be given to PROP and then distributed to families in need. Last year, this same project generated approximately 500 personal care bags!!

The Class of 2019 has asked the girls basketball program to support this cause by bringing full size deodorants to the girls basketball game. Other full size toiletries such as shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, and soap are also being collected by other EPHS organizations.
