EPGBA Seeking Sponsors

EPGBA Seeking Sponsors

This year our association is increasing efforts to enlist sponsors to join in supporting the EPGBA mission.  During this time of the year and at the start of our season, we routinely experience over 200 hits per day on our website.  This offers local and area businesses an easy way to advertise their product or service and maximize their exposure.

The purpose of this email is to ask you for sponsorship leads that will result in a cash donation to the EPGBA, in return the EPGBA will reward your family with a $50 "finder's fee."  More specifically, we are requesting your help in connecting me with a business that is willing to talk about options to advertise their business and in the end they contribute to our association with a cash donation.  In order to receive the $50, you must provide me with an actual person/contact who I can work with AND the business ends up signing on for a sponsorship.

We have a few options for sponsors to consider but since each business will likely have unique marketing needs we do offer flexibility.  I would work with them directly to package some options that suit their needs.   Some of the options we are considering are business logos on banners to be displayed at our November tournament, and also presence on the EPGBA web site.  In addition, some sponsors may be interested in being a vendor at either our November or Spring tournaments.  We anticipate sponsorship packages ranging from $250 to $500 depending on what they would like.

Finally, if anyone has any interest in joining me in these efforts to recruit and engage sponsors I would greatly appreciate your help. We realize many of our members are unable to commit to participating on the EPGBA Board, or oversee one of our special events, but feel this is a simple way we can all work together for the benefit of our program.  The goal always being to support and promote our daughters and the game of basketball.  I look forward to hearing from you!

Carmen Bamlett

EPGBA Sponsorship Coordinator

EPGBA Open Gym - Tuesday Nights this summer

Summer Open Gym is Back!

EPGBA is excited to be bringing back Open Gym time this summer to all girls ages K-12th grade looking to improve their game.  Open Gym will be held weekly in the Activity Center (Courts 3 & 4) at Eden Prairie High School from 6:30pm - 8:30pm.  The dates currently scheduled for open gym are as follows:

JUNE - 27th
JULY - 11th, 18th, 25th
AUGUST - 1st, 8th, 15th, and 22nd

*Schedule is subject to change

For each open gym date, there will be at least one adult present to supervise the gym activities. The space is made available for players to scrimmage and to work on their basketball skills.  The gym supervisor’s role will be to ensure safety in the gym and to assist the players as needed.  There will be no organized instruction/coaching done by EPGBA during open gym.  Parents are welcome to attend open gym to supervise their children; however, if you choose to drop off your player, please understand that EPGBA is not responsible for your child.

Since we all know how important the offseason is in developing players, we hope that you will share this FREE opportunity with your daughter and encourage her and her friends to attend Open Gym to keep playing, developing skills, and most importantly, to have fun playing basketball!
