The EPGBA Travel Program will be designing new uniforms for all travel teams this coming fall season. In order to successfully run these tournaments, and achieve our fundraising goal of ~$7,000, we need every travel family to help us out by volunteering your time to operate the score clock or work the gate admissions table. Since these are MYAS-sponsored tournaments, they have strict rules regarding clock operation – timekeepers must be AT LEAST 16 years or older. EPGBA as the host site, will retain 100% of the gate fee admissions, and we will also require that only parents will be allowed to work the admissions table/handle the money. Please note that all Home teams will be required to keep the official scorebook, so we will not need volunteers for this responsibility. Also, if your daughter is participating in the EPGBA Spring League, we have requested that all of our EP teams be placed at the EPHS location on those 2 dates!
If you have not yet operated the EPHS score clocks, we will provide a short 2-3 minute video, outlining the basic functions. This video will be posted on our website, in addition to allowing you access via your mobile phone. We know the score clocks are intimidating but this is a great chance to learn how to run the clocks – it will also help us out this November when we need volunteers to run the clocks for our own tournament.
